Game Server Rules

Rule 1 - Running when under fire only.
Running is only allowed when you are under fire. We do allow people to walk with sights up. If you`re being shot at, or if a grenade lands at your feet, then you can certainly run for cover.

Running that is not allowed
Running and gunning! If you encounter a player you`re not allowed to run at them with your weapon firing.

Rule 2 - No Bunny Hopping!
This rule is to help promote server realism. Bunny hopping to avoid fire represents one thing you can do in a video game that you would not do under normal circumstances in wartime. You would not REPEATEDLY jump when under fire or around a blind corner.

Rule 3 - Team kills
As you already know friendly fire is enabled on our server. Once you team kill two people you are forced to sit out for 30 seconds as a penalty. You don`t have to apologize for the team kill but we would like you to. Intentional team killing will result in a 90 minute kick from the server. Name calling because you where team killed WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!

Rule 4 - Swearing, Racism, and Disrespectful comments
We have a ZERO tolerance policy for racism on our game server and our Teamspeak server. You will be kicked after two warning for swearing when the swearing is not directed toward a member, server, or team. Swearing and disrespectful comments towards any player (guest, -BK-, [DD]) will result in a kick/ban with the length differing depending on the severity. Racism is a permanent ban.

-Camping is allowed on our server. -We allow ALL weapons and perks on our servers.
BK TEAM SPEAK RULES & ETIQUETTE

INTRODUCTION:
All BK admins, members and guests are expected to conduct themselves in a polite and friendly manner at all times while accessing the BK Team Speak (TS) server. In order to help facilitate this conduct the following Rules & Etiquette will apply all or in part to BK Admins, BK members and guests while accessing the BK TS server. When an issue comes into question that may not be covered by the TS rules, good common sense and decency shall prevail.

Section II. All BK Members and Guests

Rule #1
At no time may any player use inappropriate language that includes 1racism, swearing, lewd, sexual or disrespectful comments. Other topics of discussion to avoid are race, religion, politics, hacking and illegal drugs for obvious reasons.

Rule #2
When you hear someone call for and admin please stop all communication on TS until the issue is resolved. The proper way to ask for an admin is: [I need an admin on server (#)]

Rule #3
When asking for an admin to take an action (i.e. kick or ban) just give the server number, player name, explain the player has received the appropriate number of warnings and the facts/reasons as you know them. To avoid the appearance of non-conformity from one offense to similar or like offenses, do not request a specific action as these are at the discretion of the admin. Just ask for an Admin`s assistance. (remember we have guests on the open channels)

Rule #4
When a player joins the game server, do not editorialize, opinionate or use descriptive words about any particular player, (i.e. Player ABC is a known runner and continually runs around the maps). (remember we have guests on the open channels)

Rule #5
If some one else requests an admin`s assistance (i.e. Running), it would be reasonable and acceptable to add facts such as, that particular player was warned in earlier maps, or he was kicked earlier today, but please keep it to the facts. (short, to the point and do not editorialize).

Rule #6
If you suspect someone of cheating, hacking or glitching request an Admin, and have him switch you to a TS private channel where you may voice your concern. PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE SUSPECTED PERSON OUT ON TEAM SPEAK. (remember we have guests on the open channels)

Rule #7
BK members as well as non-BK members should type warnings to players who are breaking the rules. Avoid requesting an ADMIN to do your typing for you. BK members should attempt to verify warnings typed by non-BK members unless that non-BK member is well established and known to BK admins or other BK members.

Rule #8
Do not call out rule breakers, (i.e. runners) without having a name to go along with the complaint. If no name is available for one reason or another, although frustrating at times, just overlook it. If a situation appears to be getting out of hand, request assistance from any BK member to help spectate.

Rule #9
Do not announce that you are going to spectate a specific player on Team Speak or in game. It gives the impression that we are targeting these specific individuals. On the other hand it is acceptable to inform everyone you going to spectate on a perspective server.

Rule #10
BK has a zero tolerance policy when in comes to racism. Persons will be banned permanently for violating this section of the rule.

Fine Print:
The above rules are not all inclusive but are intended to provide a set of guidelines for all BK members and non-members on how to conduct themselves while accessing BK Team Speak. At all times it is expected that BK Members and non-members alike are to conduct themselves in a polite and courteous manner. At no time shall anyone accessing the BK Team Speak shall engage in any inappropriate conversations, make undesired comments as outlined herein and governed by good common sense and decency.

Bad Karma *BK* reserves the right to change or amend these rules at anytime without prior notice to you or its members. It is each person`s responsibility to check the website to determine if the rules have amended, changed or updated in any way.

Bad Karma`s rules are enforced in a progressive manner with a verbal warning proceeding a written warning, followed by suspension and/or dismissal for serious or repeat transgression of the rules. While each individual case is taken on its own merits and considered carefully by the Judge Advocate General (*JAG*), the above rules and guidelines should be considered absolute.

It is each individual *BK* member`s responsibility to stay informed of the rules and regulations within the squad. If you are unsure of something, ask your chalk leader or C.O. before you act. Follow the chain of command.
